This site does one thing. It works out the stamp duty and registration fee on a rent agreement, state by state, and shows the arithmetic so you can check it rather than trust it.

No account, no data kept

There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to buy. The rent and deposit figures you enter produce a result and are not stored.

How the rates are maintained

Rates live in one place and are updated as states revise them. Each page carries the date of its last check so you can judge how fresh the figure is, and states not yet verified against a primary source say so on the page.
